Guide to Abu Dhabi International airport in UAE
Abu Dhabi International Airport serves the capital city in the UAE and this airport is expanding fast in terms of passenger numbers. To accommodate the rapid growth parts of the airport are being redeveloped and once the work is completed there will be three terminals able to handle up to twelve million passengers each year.
Work on a fourth terminal will be completed in 2012 and Abu Dhabi Airport’s capacity will expand to twenty million passengers per annum. This airport is certainly not as possible as Dubai international airport but this is still a good place to fly into, especially for the Capital, Abu Dhabi.
Many of the major airlines fly in and out of Abu Dhabi airport including the likes of:
- British Airways
- Air India
- Air France
- Etihad Airways
- Royal Jordanian
- China Airlines
