One of the biggest selling goods in Dubai today is jewellery, or more specifically, gold jewellery. Next in line, would be the fashion boutiques and the designer clothes sold in Dubai. While certain brands are available in different parts of the world, Dubai is one of the few cities in the world where every brand can be found.
If you love a bargain, the Souks of Dubai are highly recommended. Bustling with activity, these souks resemble the traditional Arabian marketplaces of yore. The Gold Souk in 
particular is the place to visit for everything from necklaces and bracelets to rings, earrings and filigree crafts. Alternatively, if you want to avoid the Dubai heat, the city offers a bevy of air-conditioned malls that offer almost all the same things as the souks do.
The best mall to visit in Dubai is without a doubt the Mall of the Emirates. With a fourteen screen cinema, two world food courts, an arcade and a bowling alley, not to mention the mammoth Ski Dubai, the Mall of the Emirates is home to more that four hundred stores and a total of sixty five restaurants. Wafi City, BurJuman Centre and Souk Madinat Jumeirah are also well worth a visit.
