Dubai has something for every traveller and boasts several sophisticated lounges, nightclubs, bars, restaurants and multiplexes. Alcohol is legal in Dubai but do remember that it is an islamic country and DO ensure you respect local laws and customs. Being driunk in a public place can get you in trouble. There are nonetheless, some good bars in Dubai and where you can sip on your favourite 
drink or cocktail and enjoy an evening out with friends.
Dubai Bars
The Barasti Bar on the Dubai Marina is one of the most popular bars with locals and tourists alike and is often packed to the rafters on weekends. The bar stands on a large jetty and offers perfect views of the surrounding coast. Also on the Dubai Marina is the upscale Buddha Bar, which is immensely popular with tourists. The Skyview Bar is part of the Burj Hotel, which is the only hotel in the world to be given a seven star luxury rating. At this bar you can try new drinks thought up by expert bartenders or sip on a favourite.
Dubai Nightclubs
Dubai’s nightclub scene includes the Serai Nightclub, which is located at the Dubai Marine Beach Resort and stays open seven days a week. Other popular nightclubs include those based out of the Atlantis Hotel and the Keva Nightclub.
Dubai Restaurants
For restaurant enthusiasts, the Al Hadheerah Desert Restaurant is a must visit. Set in a recreated desert fort and featuring a live horse show, a spice market and a camel caravan, not to mention belly dancers, the Al Hadheerah Desert Restaurant is a tourist hub in itself. The restaurant also serves authentic Arabian cuisine, as per its theme.
